Every step is a surprise. The Beigua Park offers a dense network of trails, with no less than seven hiking itineraries that include the Varazze area, also linking it to extraordinary environments such as the Deiva Forest in Sassello. The Lungomare Europa promenade, connecting Varazze to Cogoleto, is perfect for a walk with a sea view. Inland, in Rossiglione (GE), the Val Gargassa offers the thrill of a natural canyon that is unique in Liguria.
Trekking AND hiking
High Path of the Ligurian Mountains
A hiking trail over 400 km long that runs through the whole of Liguria, in the section that crosses the Beigua Park, offers extraordinary views from the Apuan Alps to the Gulf of Genoa, from Monviso to Monte Rosa. Running at an altitude of over 1,000 metres, just a few kilometres from the coastline, the route passes right through the peaks of Beigua, where the mountains meet the sea. The three stages that cross the Park - from Passo del Giovo to Prariondo, from Prariondo to Faiallo and from Faiallo to Passo del Turchino - are also accessible to less experienced hikers.
